
The faction of the opposition African Democratic Congress (ADC) led by Dumebi Kachikwu has put a plan in place to host its national convention in the FCT on Sunday in preparation for the upcoming general election to be held next year.
The plan for the convention was revealed by Kingsley Temitope Ogah, who is the faction’s acting National Chairman. He stated it in a press statement he made available to stakeholders who should be there.
The acting national chairman also mentioned that the convention will have major stakeholders of the party including national leaders, delegates, state executives, youth, and women representatives across the country.
The press statement further revealed that the convention will be held at A-Class Garden, Wuse 2, Abuja, which should start at 3:00 pm.
The convention should play an important role in ensuring that the structure of the party is strengthened and its position as the country prepares for the 2027 general elections.
