MC Tagwaye Withdraws From NDC Reps Race, Cites Party Unity

Obinna Simon, who is popularly known as MC Tagwaye, an aspirant for the House of Representatives of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency has mentioned that he is withdrawing from the race as the party’s primary approaches.

The former aspirant revealed on his verified social media platform that he will no longer be contesting in the upcoming AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency primary election.

He stated that after reflection, although the decision was not that easy to take, it was necessary in the interest of the party.

He said that as a good party man, he understands that it is important to put the larger interest of the party first and recognizes the importance of making personal sacrifices and difficult decisions for unity’s sake, stability, and cohesion within ADC especially as the general election draws nearer.

The former NDC House of Representatives aspirant says that his withdrawal should be seen as a demonstration of dedication and loyalty to the success of the NDC.

Obinna also expressed confidence in the party’s ability to stay competitive and strong, appealing to members and the supporters of the party to remain focused and united to achieve success at the election polls.
