Spanish singer Kali Uchis had revealed that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Don Toliver who is also a singer. She shared the big news in her music video.
Posting a clip of the video on Instagram, Uchis says, “Look how much Daddy loves you little pooks, he loves you forever,” as Toliver kisses her stomach in the beginning.
The music video is also filled with imagery of Uchis and Toliver at doctor’s appointments and dancing in a room filled with stained-glass windows.
“Starting our family ❤️? don’t take too long to get here little pooks, mom & dad can’t wait to share our life with you,” Uchis wrote in her caption on Instagram.
In a 2021 interview with W Magazine, Toliver confirmed that he was dating Uchis.
“We’re not crazy public or nothing like that,” he told the outlet at the time. “We just vibe.”
The two had traveled together to Colombia to visit Uchis’ family and to shoot a pair of music videos for a few singles off Toliver’s album Life of a DON.
“I already had it in my mind to go out there and shoot a video with her incorporated into it, to make it a real-deal situation,” he said.
