Once again, Taylor Swift is out and about breaking records. Or should we say, music records never cease to follow her? In her latest feat, she announced that she had repurchased the rights to her first six albums.
“Taylor Swift,” “Fearless,” “Speak Now,” “Red,” “1989” and “Reputation.
According to Billboard, she acquired those rights for $360 million, a great deal, considering all the success Taylor Swift has enjoyed in her career.
Before then, she had plans to recreate the album Reputation and had told her fans to anticipate while she cooked behind the scenes.
Telling the truth about her progress in the remake of the album, Taylor hinted that the project was not going to be ready any time soon and since she has now purchased the right of the album, the remake may never come.
Since her announcement, Taylor’s album reputation has claimed the no. 1 spot on iTunes, dethroning Morgan Wallen’s ‘I’m the Problem’ album.
Reputation, which was released in 2017, has sold almost 2.5 million album copies in the United States.
Swift has been keeping a low profile for the past few weeks till the announcement of her Master’s Rights purchase. With the new NFL season starting soon, fans may see her outside when she supports her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
