Rihanna's Father, Ronald Fenty Dies At 70

Popular pop star Rihanna has lost her father, Ronald Fenty, who reportedly passed away at the age of 70.

A popular radio station in Barbados, Star Network News, announced that he died after a brief illness, although the cause of death was not revealed.

Fenty was surrounded by family members as he passed away, and Rihanna’s younger brother was photographed at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Rihanna has not said anything to confirm the loss, but she was reportedly in the vehicle with her brother.

Ronald Fenty is survived by his three children, Rihanna, Rajad, and Torrey, with his ex-wife Monica Brainwaithe, whom he divorced 23 years ago. He also has children from other relationships, Samantha, Kandy, and son Jamie.

Rihanna had a rocky relationship with her father for a while before the two made amends. She had accused her father of exhibiting violent behavior when they were growing up, which contributed to their estrangement.

In 2019, she filed a lawsuit that was later withdrawn against her father and his partners, accusing them of using her name to garner investors for their company, Fenty Entertainment.

After shopping for a new bed, Rihana is currently expecting her third child with rapper A$AP Rocky after revealing her baby bump at the 2025 Met Gala.

She has also tried as much as possible to get back in the music game after being away for so long.
