Jonathan Joss, an actor who is famously known for voicing in the popular ‘King of the Hill’ movie, has passed away at 59 after a report of a shooting that occurred in San Antonio.

News of him being found beside the road after several gunshots were fired during a heated conflict was released to the public by the Police

The actor was confirmed dead at the scene despite attempts to ensure his survival. Sigfredo Alvarez Ceja, a 56-year-old who was alleged to have been the shooter, has been detained by authorities.

Despite claims from his gay partner, Tristan Kern de Gonzales, the San Antonio Police Department in their report confirms that no proof links the shooting to the actor’s sexual orientation, while they continue to investigate the incident.

Joss lost his two dogs and home to fire early this year. He has been active in the industry for decades, having played a part in notable shows such as Walker, Texas Ranger, E, Charmed, Parks and Recreation, and Ray Donovan.

Movies that will be credited to him during his career include True Grit, The Forever Purge, and The Magnificent Seven. He was not just an actor but a talented singer. Joss performed with The Red Corn Band, and not too long after, he took to his Facebook account to appreciate his fans for their support at a recent show.

He was scheduled to return in the King of the Hill reboot.
