England defender Kyle Walker has issued an apology to his wife, Annie Kilner, following the revelation of fathering a second child with model Lauryn Goodman. Despite already having three children with Kilner, Walker’s additional child with Goodman was born in 2020.
Opening up to The Sun newspaper, the 33-year-old footballer expressed the need to take responsibility for his actions. Currently, Walker and Kilner are anticipating the arrival of their fourth child.
The revelation about Walker’s second child with Goodman came to light when the model reached out to Kilner through a message on Instagram, as reported by the newspaper.
In 2020, Walker faced public scrutiny and had to apologize for hosting a party at his Cheshire home, violating the nation’s lockdown measures. Manchester City, his club, assured that the 30-year-old would be subjected to an “internal disciplinary procedure.”
“I reflect on, you know, my decision making,” he toldBBC Radio 5 Liveat the time. “It was bad decisions from me at an important time for the country and the world. I take full responsibility for that but I’m moving on now.”
Amidst these developments, Walker and Kilner are reportedly spending some time apart, as per The Sun’s report.
