Brighton’s 2-0 victory at the Gtech Community Stadium against Brentford ended their six-game Premier League winless streak relieving the team’s head coach Fabian Hurzeler, of the pressure on him.

The team which had earlier lost chances from Jack Hinshelwood and Kaoru Mitoma, was able to earn one after a fine shot by Ferdi Kadioglu hit the crossbar and found Diego Gomez, who successfully converted the rebound into a goal.
The visitor scored their second goal when Nathan Collins mishit a clearance from the cross by Hinshelwood, helping Danny Welbeck to get a fine finish from a short distance.
Brentford had the opportunity that didn’t find the net through Igor Thiago and Vitaly Janelt, while Bart Verbruggen stopped an own goal attempt from Joel Veltman.
James Miller’s featuring in the game makes it his 654th Premier League appearance, beating the record earlier set by Gareth Barry, as Brighton moved 10 points ahead of the relegation zone.
