Brazil Goalkeeper Dida Said To Be Mbappe’s Father, After He Visited Paris In France For 1998 World Cup; See Resemblance

Dida & Mbappe’s resemblance

A Facebook post suggests that French Footballer, Kylian Mbappé, is the son of Brazillian Goalkeeper, Nélson de Jesus Silva, better known as Dida.

According to the viral post. Dida had traveled to France for the World Cup Football tournament in 1998 as a substitute for the team’s goalkeeper, Cláudio André Mergen Taffarel.

The gist held that because Dida had no playing time on the pitch, he spent most of the days touring the city of Paris.

And within the same year, Mbappe was born. Apparently, suggesting that Dida had sexual intercourse with a woman in Paris-France, got her pregnant, and she gave birth to Mbappe.

Fact Check: Is it true? Is Dida Really The Father Of Mbappe?

While there might be some resemblance in Mbappe and Dida’s facial looks and also given the fact that both men are renowned footballers, that does not necessarily mean that the Paris Saint-Germain and the France national team footballer is the son of Brazillian former goalkeeper Dida.

As a matter of fact, the rumor is not true because France 98 World Cup started on 10 July 1998, and Mbappe was born on 20 December 1998. The human gestation period (how long a baby stays in a woman’s womb from conception to the day of delivery) is about 9 months and 2 weeks.

So assuming Dida actually slept with a woman and got her pregnant during his Paris World Cup tour, the period from the start of the World Cup (10 July 1998) to when Mbappe was born (20 December 1988) is about 5 months plus, and that is far below the normal 9 months required for humans.

Well, unless he was born prematurely, I would allow the medical experts to determine if a baby, as healthy as Mbappe, can be born just after 5 months plus in the mother’s womb.

Or best still, as many in the comment section suggested, DNA can be done.
