
Aminu Gwarzo, former deputy governor of Kano State has penned his resignation letter from his new party, the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Gwarzo mentioned that his reason for defection includes the latest political developments and the need for him to resign from his political cousin.
The former deputy governor mentioned in his letter to the party chairman in Gwarzo Local Government Area of Kano State that his new decision takes immediate effect.
In his explanation, he stated that the recent political atmosphere and new developments within the political environment were the reasons for leaving the party he had just joined.
He also included that the recent occurrence around the country’s politics made it very important for him to create a new political direction in line with his future aspirations and plans.
His resignation from ADC adds to the growing wave of political movements and defections due to the coming general election set for next year.
