Aaron Rodgers featured against the team he left two years ago, the Green Bay Packers, coming onto the pitch against them for the first time as his team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, lost 35-25 to them.

The player who is usually hailed with the “Go Pack Go” chants by the Green Bay Packers fans was now taunted by the same fans after he made 24 of 36 passes for 219 yards and two touchdowns, but was fired three different times.

The Steelers were lucky to have managed only 117 yards during the second half, dropping to 4-3. He did not leave without sharing emotional moments with the staff of the Packers and his former teammates, tagging it special to meet again, though he disclaimed that he was on a “revenge” mission.

His former team had a defense that contained him, blitzing just once in 39 dropbacks, while Micah Parsons and Rashan Gary teamed up for three sacks.

The player still made touches of brilliance, part of which were a 21-yard touchdown to Roman Wilson and a 24-yard strike that reached DK Metcalf. All the efforts were not enough to secure a win.

Patrick Queen, a linebacker star for the Steelers, shows off his anger at the end of the game, regretting that his side was unable to secure a win for Aaron Rodgers against his former side, the Green Bay Packers.
