Talbi’s Last-Gasp Strike Lifts Sunderland To Stunning Win At Chelsea

Sunderland moved up to second in the Premier League after Chemsdine Talbi scored a last-minute goal in the 94th minute to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Regis le Bris’ team seemed happy enough with a draw in West London, but Talbi’s sharp shot from just outside the box, after a quick counterattack, snatched all three points.

The outcome was pretty exciting, especially since Chelsea got off to a strong start with Alejandro Garnacho netting his very first goal for the club. It was a fantastic solo run that really got things going.

Wilson Isidor pounced on a loose ball from a long throw and scored his fourth goal of the season before halftime, leveling the score after Chelsea couldn’t quite clear the ball.

In the second half, the visitors played it safe, happy to keep things tight and frustrate the Club World Cup winners. Chelsea had most of the ball but struggled to create clear chances. As they pushed forward in search of a winning goal, they left themselves a bit exposed.

Sunderland made them pay. Late in the game, substitute Brian Brobbey held up the attack, then laid it off to Talbi, who hit a shot that sealed a dramatic and unforgettable victory.

Sunderland’s win moves them up to second place, only two points behind Arsenal at the top. Meanwhile, Chelsea slips down to seventh, now behind their London rivals Tottenham.
