Mike Tyson did not hold his charge and slapped Jake Paul during their final faceoff before their eventual fight as the end of their countdown closed in. A closer look at the video shows that Paul stepped on Tyson’s foot.

58-year-old Tyson dished out the slap on Paul’s face following the latter’s crawling stunt to show the older fighter how fast and agile he could be inside the ring. Video below:

As both closed in for the faceoff, Tyson squared Paul after the 27-year-old crawled up and then towered at him – his shoe on his almost barefoot. He slapped him, pointed at what he did, and immediately took position for a quick brawl, as the moderator separated the two.

Jake Paul played down the slap saying he did not feel it and called Tyson an angry little elf. He then said he would knock Mike out for the “cute slap”.

Mike Tyson Vs Jake Paul: What To Look Out For

The fight is definitely one to watch. Both fighters are formidable opponents, though a very wide age gap separates the two. Mike Tyson, currently weighing 100kg or 228.4 pounds, was the final stop to most fighters during his time, having fought 58 times and won 50. Though he is definitely past his prime, his breathtaking moves and quick reflexes as witnessed during training sessions are something to watch out for (video below).

Jake Paul clearly has the age advantage at his side but might be lacking in experience. The Youtuber turned fighter started his professional fighting career in 2020. So far, he has fought 10 times, knocking his opponents out 7 times, and was defeated just once.

Jake Paul’s Probable Winning Strategy

A very probably strategy Jake Paul might want to use to ensure he beats Mike Tyson is simply to wear the older fighter down till he gets tired. To do that, he will have to be very evasive – don’t get too close to avoid getting hit by those “Iron Mike” punches.
