A footage of the attacker who stabbed Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel and other Priests and church members multiple times in a church in Western Sydney, Australia, smiling and reportedly saying “Allahu Akbar” triggered many to want to kill him.

The suspect was saved by the swift intervention of the police who guarded him against an angry crowd that wanted to lynch him, chanting “Bring him out”!

The Sydney church attack, which has been noted as a terrorist attack, was conducted by a 16-year-old boy at people during a mass at the Assyrian Christ The Good Shepherd Church.

According to the police, four people suffered “non-life-threatening” injuries in the bizarre stabbing attack which was captured on the church livestream.

Authorities say investigations are being conducted. They however agreed it was a case of religious extremism but did not state the attacker’s religion, though he was suspected to be a Muslim.

The attack on Father Isaac Royel and the Bishop as Mar Mari Emmanuel – a popular and controversial figure, quickly drew an angry crowd to the Assyrian Orthodox Church.

Videos of Bishop Emmanuel warning of the new world order and advocating for Americans to vote for Trump or lose their country are viral on social media. The Bishop is also known for condemning the church and “men of God” who just seek to enrich themselves and refuse to speak out.

The situation escalated with the angry crowd wanting to immediately kill the attacker and demanding his release from the police who were guarding him in the church.

Two officers were injured and 10 police cars were destroyed in the mayhem.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese called up an emergency meeting of national security agencies.

“We’re a peace-loving nation… There’s no place for violent extremism,” he said.

In curbing further aggression, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and X, (Twitter) – were immediately ordered to remove offensive content relating to the attack from their platforms within 24 hours or face potential fines.
