Dr. Olufunmilayo on Twitter debunked the notion that a man’s penis has an underlying bone and can break due to intense sexual activity, notably being the reverse cowgirl.
“The human penis (manhood) has NO bones inside it. It is all muscles, blood vessels, cylinders, and tubes. No bones. Only tissues”, he said.
Referring to a viral X-ray that showed the broken bone inside a man’s penis, he said the photo was fake.
He also noted that the penis cannot break; it can, however, fracture – but not like the usual human bones do.
According to the online doctor, a penis fracture occurs when the outer lining of one of the two cylinders snaps and cuts suddenly.
