WCW Legend Buff Bagwell Gets Leg Amputated

Legendary wrestling star Buff Bagwell of the World Championship Wrestling promotion company has had his leg amputated after a long battle with injuries from an accident in 2020.

Buff, whose real name is Marcus Bagwell, had the operation above the knee after fighting not to have his leg amputated for the last few years.

Before the surgery, Bagwell took to his YouTube channel to talk about what the surgery meant for his new reality and how he got to that point.

He had an accident in 2020 while recovering from a foot injury. In that accident, he crashed his Chevy Tahoe into a building. A part of the building was damaged, but nobody was there.

Bagwell also damaged his kneecap during the accident, which required 21 surgeries. According to him, he was in a really dark place.

He became addicted to alcohol and took it to forget his situation. He was a mess. However, two years later, he went to rehab and has stayed sober ever since.

Buff wrestled for the World Championship Wrestling promotion franchise for three years and quickly became one of the fans’ favorites.

His close friend Steve Stasiak, who revealed the successful operation on social media, noted that it was hard for Buff to take it in because life after amputation was a different ballgame.

But Buff has not given up yet. He’ll adjust to his new life with the support of his loved ones.
