Loum Tchaouna, who came into the game as a substitute for Burnley against Leeds United, scored the winner in a 2-0 tough Premier League game at Turf Moor. The two teams were in the top two of the Championship last season.
The first goal of the match was netted after 18 minutes when the match commenced by Lesley Ugochukwu by heading a cross from Kyle Walker into Leeds United’s net.
Leeds United played a good game as they dominated the match and created good opportunities, including a shot by Brenden Aaronson hitting the goalpost and Jayden Bogle missing a chance from close distance, but they were unable to get a goal.
Burnley’s good play under coach Scott Parker is one to take note of, as Tchaouna’s thunderbolt earned the team their second victory since the season started, both on Burnley’s ground. The goal came in the 68th minute.
Burnley is now in the 17th position of the league table, just a point behind Leeds United in 15th after their embarrassing loss.
This loss makes it the 17th in their last 22 games in the Premier League without a clean sheet in 25 trials. Leeds continue to suffer away losses.
