Manchester United kept their good run going under coach Ruben Amorim with an exciting 4-2 win over Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford. It’s their third straight win in the Premier League.
Coming off their first win at Liverpool since 2016, the team looked confident and fired up. Matheus Cunha got the scoring started in the 24th minute with a beautiful low shot into the corner, making it his very first goal for United.
Ten minutes later, Casemiro’s shot took a big deflection, doubling the home team’s lead and putting them firmly in control.
Then, around the hour mark, Bryan Mbeumo scored a calm, measured goal to make it 3-0, almost ending the game. Danny Welbeck pulled one back with a stunning free kick, giving Brighton a spark of hope. As the clock ran out, Charalampos Kostoulas scored a late header during stoppage time, making things really tense in the final moments.
Brighton kept pushing for that equaliser, but United hit back on the counterattack. Mbeumo smashed his second goal of the game right into the top corner, sealing the win. With that, United climbs up to fourth place, while Brighton stays in 12th.
