Arsenal remains consistent with their winning streak and heads to four points clear of the Premier League table after beating Crystal Palace by four points, after Eberechi Eze netted against his former club.

Eberechi Eze, who plays for England, was brought from Palace to Arsenal last August in a £60 million deal.

He fired home into the visitors’ net after their defenders failed to clear a free kick from Declan Rice six minutes before the end of the first half.

Arsenal’s defence strength in the game was top-notch, preventing the other side from creating many chances and set-piece precision, giving them 10 wins in their last 13 games across all competitions.

While Arsenal took dominance, they did not do well in their attack but were disciplined throughout, which gave them a three-point lead, helping them to go top of the league with four points away from their next competitor.

Arsenal snatched a win on the night despite big teams such as Manchester City losing 1-0 to Aston Villa and Liverpool losing 3-2 to Brentford.

AFC Bournemouth secured a 2-0 victory against Nottingham Forest, putting them in second behind only the Gunners, but Arsenal remains the strongest this season.

The team now battles with their stars, such as William Saliba and Declan Rice, battling injury as they were forced to exit the game in the second half.
