Manchester City faced an embarrassing 3-1 loss in their Champions League game on Tuesday night against Bodo/Glimt.

The Premier League’s team was beaten at the Aspmyra Stadion, where Kasper Høgh fired a double before the end of the first 45 minutes, and Jens Petter scored another to seal the Norwegian side’s win.

Rayan Cherki, in a short while, had hope for Pep Guardiola’s side with a fine response after the goal from Hauge, but a red card shown to Rodri added to the woes of Manchester City, which travelled to visit the other side.

The visitor appeared not in sync and didn’t find it easy to cope with the relentless pressing by Bodo/Glimt as they played in minus-two-degree temperatures.

Kjetil Knutsen’s team took possession of the game despite the vast reputational and financial gap between the two teams.

The loss added to the troubles of Manchester City as they appear out of form, with the head coach, Pep Guardiola, facing growing concern after another humbling defeat.
