The current American president, in his second term, Donald Trump, has continued to raise questions over the connection he once had with Jeffrey Epstein by giving conflicting testimonies about their fallout.
Trump had earlier mentioned that Jeffrey Epstein was declared persona non grata from his Mar-a-Lago for being what he tagged “a creep.” He later confirmed that their fallout arose from the other man poaching young teenagers as spa staff, even after he was cautioned.
This includes one who may likely be one of Epstein’s accusers, who reportedly ended her own life, Virginia Giuffre.
The testament issued by the White House shared a similar alignment with the new remarks by President Trump. These two accounts differ from the report made in 2019 by the Washington Post that suggested that Trump’s crisis with Epstein was caused by a real estate conflict over a mansion in Palm Beach.
Trump had in 2019 refused to answer multiple questions he was asked about his fallout with Epstein.
The conflicting accounts from the president himself raise questions about his knowledge of Epstein’s misconduct. While Trump himself has not been alleged of committed a crime in the case.
The different testimonies also call for investigations into the president’s relationship to the disgraced financier.
