Drama unfolded around W. Alsea Avenue and W. Platte Court in Post Falls, Idaho, when a construction worker got so high on drinks and decided to cool off by mounting an excavator and destroying a new home.
The shocking incident happened early Tuesday morning, November 11, when 29-year-old Fred Kudrna took control of the excavator to bulldoze the home, which had just been built and sold but was not yet occupied.
The Post Falls Police Department said they received several emergency calls from people reporting the incident as it was happening before 6. am. When they arrived, they caught Fred driving off from the house.
He was subsequently arrested and charged with driving under the influence (DUI), burglary, and malicious injury to property.
While many on social media suspect the man might have harbored an underlying grudge somewhere, either with the builders of the home or the buyer, caution should be exercised while the police complete their ongoing investigation.
However, Fred Kudrna was noted to be homeless and nomadic.
