Video: Alaska Flight Attendant Twerking On Plane & Fired Opens GoFundMe But Gets $261

A recently employed flight attendant for Alaska Airlines lost her job after she posted a video of herself twerking in a plane while wearing her uniform, shortly before passengers boarding.

The TikTok video saw the now former air hostess dancing along the aisle of the plane, then she came closer to the camera and started shaking her bum. She also captioned the video “ghetto bih till i D-I-E” – the “bih” seemingly standing for “bitch”. Watch below:

Nelle Diala said she made the video to celebrate the end of her 6 months probationary period and claims she was wrongfully terminated.

While her video quickly went viral and amassed thousands to millions of views on TikTok where it was first posted and on other social media networks, Nelle thought she had gathered a large fan base and created a GoFundMe to solicit financial assistance.

However, to her shock, her GoFundMe received only $261 which only made it go more viral. Currently, the account has received over $3,500.

Nelle said she was devasted at losing her dream job. She also added that she was only using the income from her job as Alaska’s flight attendant to push her lingerie and dessert business, which is now “blossoming”.

Alaska Airlines terminated her employment with immediate effect and without an investigation and told her she had violated its social media policy. The Airline told Business Insider that it holds its staff as well as “flight attendants to high standards for conduct and guest care”.

“They don’t want to listen”, Nelle complained, while explaining “that the video wasn’t intended to harm anyone or the company”. In a further post, she lamented how insensitive the world could be to someone who just wants to be real. “What’s wrong with a little twerk before work”? She asked.
