On Saturday after, Scotts Valley, part of Northern California, experienced a tornado injuring at least four persons as reported by local authorities.
Cars were overturned by the tornado, power lines were downed, and significant damages were caused in the area while they were located about 55 miles south of San Francisco.
The tornado was classified as an EF1 by the National Weather Service (NWS), while the peak wind speeds measured 90 mph.
The twister measured almost 30 yards wide; it touched down at 1:39 p.m. local time and moved a quarter of a mile before it dissipated. Two among those who got injured were rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
