A sad video captured the moment massive waves swept a woman from the beach where she was with her boyfriend, into the ocean while she was strolling along the beach with her boyfriend in Sochi, Russia, on June 16.
The viral footage showed the couple walking by the beach while holding hands and teasing each other, before being continually knocked down by strong waves.
A massive wave pushed the man ashore and drew the woman inwards as it reclined. The boyfriend frantically tried from his end to reach her but the waves just pushed her further into the sea till she was out of sight.
The woman has not been found after three days, prompting rescuers to widen their search from Riviera Beach to the Mamayka microdistrict.
