A Taliban police commander in Afghanistan allegedly punished a boy by penetrating him violently with a stick and recording a video of the act, because he was talking with a girl over the phone.
As reported by Bilal Sarwary, the boy was tortured and anally penetrated so violently that he was hospitalized and in critical condition for 10 days. The crime happened in Faryab Qari Akka, and the name of the young man was identified as Gul Mohammed.
The violent video went viral and attracted so much public pressure that the Taliban released a statement stating that the offending officer, by name Qari Bilal Akka, had been arrested.
