Video: Injured Ukrainian Soldier Abandoned & Found By Russian Army Says He Was A Civilian Forced To Fight In The War

A video purportedly recorded by the Russian army shows a captured Ukrainian soldier who was injured and subsequently abandoned by his comrades.

The Ukraine soldier, whose name wasn’t clear in the video, said he was abandoned after he stepped on a mine that injured his legs.

The Ukrainian soldier during the course of the interview with the Russian military said he was a civilian forced by the Ukrainian authorities and military to fight in the war against Russia.

He said he and other men that were forced to fight were threatened with imprisonment if they refused to take up arms against Russia. He added that there were 10 other men like him in the group.

This is coming amidst speculation that Ukraine is running out of military personnel as well as other resources to keep up with the fight, despite the much aid given by the US. Both sides have reportedly had huge casualties as the war persists, with an alleged video showing Ukraine soldiers killing Russian soldiers after infiltrating their trench.
