After Ukrainian authorities released body-cam footage of their soldiers from the Special Operations Forces (SSO) units shooting and killing soldiers from the Russian army, after entering their trench, many have related the video to events in “Call of Duty”.
The video below shows soldiers from the 73rd Naval Special Operations Center, Ukraine, who infiltrated a Russian trench, behind the enemy line and killed four of their soldiers unaware.
The footage sparked controversy again on which side actually leads in the ongoing war, with both countries claiming to have the upper hand.
However, many were quick to point out that the alleged Russian soldiers that were killed were unarmed and were not moving like trained military personnel. One was wearing sneakers.
Others lamented that the video, which looked like a scene from a Hollywood action movie or war game, was in fact degrading the value of human life to viewers to watch.
