Jansen Panettiere, a child actor of the 2000s and brother of actressHayden Panettiere, has died. He was aged 28 years old.
According to reports, Jansen Panettiere died Sunday in New York. An official cause of death has not been released while an investigation into his death is also underway.
Panettiere made his acting debut in 2002 with a voice role in the animated TV series “Midori’s Nintendoland Bakery,” which he followed with appearances in the series “Even Stevens,” “Hope & Faith” and “Third Watch.”
Jansen Panettiere, born in 1994 to actress Lesley R. Vogel and firefighter Alan Lee “Skip” Panettiere, also co-starred with his sister Hayden in the 2004 Disney Channel film “Tiger Cruise,” which was inspired by the events of the September 11 terrorist attacks on the WTC.
He also played voice roles in “Robots,” “Ice Age: The Meltdown” and Nickelodeon’s action comedy “The X’s,” as well as onscreen appearances in “The Babysitters”, “The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry”, and “The Perfect Game.”
Jansen Panettiere’s last movie role was in the 2022 romantic comedy “Love and Love Not.”
