The first child of Beyoncé, Blue Ivy, is in the news after joining her mother on stage as the much-anticipated Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tours started at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 28.

Blue Ivy, who is now 13 years old, surprised the audience with a noteworthy performance during “America Has a Problem,” wowing her admirers as she took center stage while backup dancers remained in formation behind her.

To make the night a beautiful one, Beyoncé’s 7-year-old child, Rumi Carter, appeared on the stage for the first time while the emotional track “Protector” was being sung. The performance had lyrics that touched the heart, like, “Even though I know someday you’re gonna shine on your own / I will be your projector.”

Beyoncé stood together with her two children in a touching phase that ended with a joyful moment, which came before a video montage of the singer and her two children that caused the audience to burst into tears.

The times that Blue Ivy performed include during her mother’s Renaissance World Tour debut in 2023 in Paris and later performed in 2024 during Beyoncé’s Christmas Day Bowl halftime show.

The concert in Los Angeles marks the start of a 32-show stadium tour in nine cities within the United States and Europe, with a grand finale on July 26 in Las Vegas.

The popular RnB star will also be breaking records as the singer with the highest number of performances that has ever happened at SoFi Stadium.
