Whether it is intentional or not, nobody, especially criminals, likes snitches, and while they would take all measures to tighten all ends, one would never think of being ratted out by their own pet – and that was what happened to 55-year-old Victoria Vidal.
Victoria, who had an active arrest warrant on her from the Cuyahoga Falls police, was driving with a suspended license along the South Arlington Road on the evening of May 5. She was stopped by Officer Austin Branham of the Springfield Township Police Department, who had identified her car.
All was going “well” during the traffic stop which saw the driver detained, but when the officer turned to her car, he was shocked to see the woman’s pet raccoon holding a meth pipe and attempting to smoke it, on the driver’s seat.
The cop could not control his amusement, as he called on his colleague to come and see for themselves. Following the tip-off, the woman’s car was then searched and a large amount of meth and crack cocaine was found inside the vehicle.

Victoria Vidal was then arrested for possession of drugs as well as driving with a suspended license. Her pet raccoon, named Chewy, was checked to be okay too. The police also said that additional charges will be brought against her after the results from the lab test are obtained.
