The Nigerian police have arrested a lady who raised a false alarm about her Kidnap on Twitter.
It was reported earlier that the lady identified as Toyosi took to he social media wall to announce that she was abducted by some kidnappers as she share an address of her location and a telephone number of one of the people who took her.
Hours after Toyosi declared that she made the expensive joke to chase clout she voluntarily handed herself over to the police as she is currently being interrogated and detained.
The incident was confirmed by the spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command identified as SP Benjamin Hundeyin who said that the lady “is in our custody and the case is under investigation”.
