The Nigerian police force has arrested three prime suspects who are responsible for the death of a teenage girl identified as Rofiat.
It was found that one of the suspected murderers, Soliu Majekodumi, who is aged 18, lured his girlfriend to the scene where she was murdered with the aid of his friends, Wariz Oladehinde, 17 years old; Abdul Gafar Lukman, 19, and Mustakeem Balogun, 20.
Following their arrest, it was revealed that the boys had beheaded the girl and was burning her head inside a local pot, before they were apprehended by the community guard, aka vigilante.
During the interrogation, the boys confessed that they dumped the remains of the victim in an uncompleted building after they removed the head, which was meant for a money ritual.
They also disclosed that the boy whose girlfriend was massacred in cold blood escaped when he saw the police, but other suspects were nabbed.
