Black Tuesday! Who Gave the Orders to Kill Unarmed Protesters In Lekki Tollgate? Buhari, Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu?

It was surely a premeditated attack on the unarmed protesters at Lekki Tollgate, Lagos state. After the Governor announced a curfew from 9pm to the next 24hrs, orders were given to remove the CCTV cameras at the Lekki Tollgate after which the electric lights lightning up the area were switched off.  These happened in the early hours of the night.

What followed was an act that could be likened to a scene from army combatant movies. The Nigerian army brazenly walked up to the protesting crowd and opened fired on them. About 78 people were dead, scores injured while an unconfirmed number of dead bodies were carted away by the soldiers to an unknown destination. The soldiers even prevented the injured to be treated as they ordered ambulances which were called to the scene back.

The question now is who gave the orders. President Mohammadu Buhari, being the Chief Commander of the Armed Forces of Nigeria definitely as the action button to this. Also, the Governor of Lagos State, Sanwo-Olu as well as Bola Ahmed Tinubu, have questions to answer as this dreadful act happened in their area of authority. Fingers also point to Tinubu because he is reportedly the owner of the Lekki Tollgate which have lost hundreds of millions of Naira, since the inception of the #endsars campaign.
