Video captures the moment Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s security aide was covering his nose when the presidential aspirant stood up, and social media trolls were quick to conclude he must have urinated on his clothes, and it was smelling.

According to the video, which is going around the internet, Tinubu visited the palace of the Awujale of Ijebuland to discuss and seek the king’s support for his 2023 presidential ambition.

The All Progressive Congress (APC) national leader can be seen standing as he was addressing the King with his security aide at his back, who can also be observed covering his nose as he stares at the backside of Tinubu’s agbada (Yoruba native wear), which is soaked.

In response, Tinubu’s camp said the video and narration were not true and were, as a matter of fact, photoshopped. They said it was a guise to distract the presidential candidate from his goals and emphasized that he was healthy and strong to rule Nigeria.

Reacting to the news, Shehu Sani said Tinubu might not have urinated on his clothes, but his aide was definitely reacting to a smell that started after he stood up and his wet side became visible. He joked that the aide should be faulted because according to Yoruba tradition, one should not display disgust at a King for farting in public, no matter how bad the odor might be.

Reno Omokri, who later became an ardent Tinubu supporter and advocate, said the APC leader might be suffering from Enuresis.
