According to Trump, any country that succeeds in assassinating the U.S. president will bring about a “very terrible” consequence on its people, because it will end with the death of everybody in that nation.
He berated Biden for not making it known and blamed his administration’s lack of intelligence.
The announcement was made as Trump continued with his 2020 policy on maximum pressure on Tehran. A move where sanctions were placed on Iran that would be removed if the Arab nation dropped its quest for nuclear weapons.
Though security threats against the President from Iran have been actively monitored, including the failed assassination attempt, which Iran denied having involvement with, when he was shot during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, if he is unfortunately killed now, the power of the presidency, according to AP News, will fall on VP JD Vance, who might not choose to go on with the total annihilation.
The warning is coming as a stern reminder of Trump’s stance that Iran is a terrorist organization.
