Brits & Official News Differ On The Number Of People That Marched For Unite The Kingdom

Video Britains Unite To Protest Against Migrants In Unite The Kingdom March

A massive number of Brits marched on the streets to protest against the influx of immigrants into the UK, especially the illegal immigrants who they say seemed to be more favoured by the government over the citizens.

The march, titled “Unite the Kingdom,” saw the people in their thousands, clad in the British flag and chanting “we want our country back”. Some also held banners that requested the government turn back illegal migrants flocking in via boats, as well as pleas to save their children.

The demonstration started on Saturday, September 13, in London and was organized by far-right activist Tommy Robinson. After converging in central London, the massive crowd marched across Westminster Bridge with flags of the United Kingdom and England – the Union Flag and the Cross of St. George.

The anti-immigration march was also a protest against what had been termed “The Great Replacement”, where Brits, as well as Europeans in general, fear that migrants flocking into their country would soon overpopulate and in the future dominate the country.

“The Great Replacement” is based on fears of Islamization and radicalization of the country by muslim migrants who are not comfortable with the way of life in the West, as well as the loss of British culture and pride.

The huge turnout of people might also be due to the perceived favoritism that citizens say illegal migrants enjoy over them. A viral one was that of a woman who lamented that the police were more concerned that she referred to a migrant who spat on her as “filthy”.

While official and mainstream media reports that the total number of people who turned out for the protest was about 110,000, the online community again disagrees with that.

Not only do they disagree with the report, but they also claim that it was an effort to downplay their efficacy and dissuade future protests.

Viral claims on social media say that the crowd numbered over a million, and some said false reports, such as what was reported, were why they stopped listening to mainstream news.

The protest did not go unnoticed in the United States, where X CEO Elon Musk joined online to encourage the pro-Britain protesters to fight back against or die off.

However, the protest did not end without some skirmishes and, indeed, violence. Many police officers sustained various degrees of injuries when angry protesters started hurling bottles and other objects at them, amid other forms of physical attack.

A total of 26 cops were injured, while 25 protesters were arrested. Assistant Commissioner Matt Twist, in a statement, said that an investigation was underway to identify and arrest the people who behaved disorderly.

But while the anti-migrant protest raged, a mini pro-migrant rally also played at the corner. Supporters here waved placards that read welcome messages to the migrants, trampling support for the far-right, and one that seemed to urge the migrants themselves to “stand up and fight back”!
