The death of adult film actress and OnlyFans girl Lina Bina, aka MissJohnDough, has once again opened up the question of why porn actors/actresses don’t live long.
Lina Bina’s death was announced by Coco Bliss on an Instagram tribute where she lamented her passing too soon.
MissJohnDough’s demise was also confirmed by her sister, as reported by World Star, who said she died due to a blood clot in her heart and neck.
However, shortly before her death, Lina Bina made a depressing post on X where she acknowledged being away from social media because she was going through a lot.
“Sorry I’ve been so ghost I’m going through a lot of shit rn”, she wrote on August 1, with a downcast emoji to show her emotions.
Some of her fans rallied around her in the comment section, encouraging her to take the much-needed time and heal properly.
Unfortunately, that tweet was her last. The comment section is now filled with people paying their tributes, as well as those berating her for her work, and others looking for her videos to watch in her memory.
Though MissJohnDough is noted as an adult film actress, she seemingly has not made an appearance in any major pornographic movie. However, she is a content creator herself and shares videos of explicit sexual acts on X. She also posts content about having a family with her husband and kid.
Her passing also left many wondering if adult movie stars don’t really live long. The statistics are wrongly gotten from viral news on deaths of active porn stars, which are usually within the young age bracket, when in reality, many of them do retire and leave the industry to live normal, long lives.
Nonetheless, there are higher death rates in the adult movie industry due to higher risks from mental health disorders and drug abuse, which is highly linked to suicides. The physical and emotional trauma the performers, especially the women, pass through in their acts also leaves them scarred.
