New York Gunman Kills 4 In Murder-Suicide Attack On The NFL Headquarters

On Monday evening, a gunman launched an attack on the skyscraper housing the NFL Headquarters in New York, killing four and seriously injuring an NFL employee.

After the attack, the 27-year-old suspect, whose name was Shane Tamura, shot himself in the head.

It was a random attack and the last thing anyone would expect, especially against the football league.

According to the city’s Mayor Eric Adams, the motive of the attack could be linked to the note the gunman, identified asTamura, wrote before storming the headquarters.

The note seemingly suggested that he was blaming the NFL for his brain injury, despite not getting into the Major League.

According to the note, Tamura had CTE, a brain disease that is mostly caused by multiple hard blows to the head. On social media, his former teammate said he played football in school, but he did not get to the NFL.

The note also suggested that he was mentally ill, which he blamed on the brain injury.

When Tamura first arrived, he took out Didarul Islam, a police officer working as a security guard that evening. Entering the building, he took out an employee of the finance company Blackstone. Her name was Wesley LePatner.

Two more people were killed in the attack, and one NFL employee was injured. Tamura shot himself in the head.

After a background check, the authorities concluded that Tamura was from Las Vegas and that was where he lived. So, he most likely drove from Vegas to New York to carry out the attack.

The incident disrupted the daily activities in the heart of New York as the authorities did their best to contain the situation. The president has been briefed, and an investigation into the event is still ongoing.
