Michigan Attack: At Least 11 People Stabbed At Walmart

At least 11 people have been reported injured in a knife attack at a Walmart in Michigan, according to the local authorities.

The Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s office confirmed that the incident was supposedly carried out by a suspect who attacked randomly.

According to Sheriff Michael Shea, the suspect, a middle-aged Michigan resident who has been apprehended, took out a folding knife and started to attack.

Till now, the department has not been able to put together why or the motive behind the senseless attack.

The suspect was caught by the other shoppers in the store and handed over to the local authorities. They also helped those who were injured.

“This was a joint effort all the way through, and, as I mentioned, the citizens, too,” Shea said.

The incident had caused distress to the people of Grand Traverse County, as six of the victims were reportedly in critical condition.

The news of the incident had gotten to the federal authorities, and they would be there to provide any support the local county needs.

“Our thoughts are with the victims and the community reeling from this brutal act of violence,” Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitaker said.

Violence in the United States has continued to grow, with random acts popping up everywhere. It’s almost like nothing can be done to fight it.
