The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department announced that their cops will start using Tesla Cybertrucks after an anonymous person gifted them ten units of the electric vehicle.

While making the announcement, an LVMPDspokesperson, Kevin McMahill, said the Cybertrucks would be used for patrol and SWAT teams operations and that they were ordered before the Trump Tower attack where a suspected terrorist drove a rented Cybertruck to a crowd where it detonated and killed only the driver.

McMahill, however, lawded the safety of the electric car. “We want these things because the cops inside will be safe no matter. These stop bullets. They are also a tremendous recruitment tool for us”, he said.

The Cybertruck received many thumbs up after it absorbed most of the explosion, stood its ground, and retained its basic structure after it was used to carry out the bomb attack.

The identity of the person that donated the electric vehicles is not known, but many would put a wild guess at the Tesla CEO himself, Elon Musk.
