A man who drove into an Arizona coffee drive-thru naked and exposing his penis to the attendant while masturbating could not bear the public shaming that followed and commited suicide.
Nautica Malone came in his car to the drive-thru line of Tempe’s Bikini Beans Coffee without any cloth covering his lower region and exposed his penis to the attendant that took his order, as reported by TMZ.
From their brief conversation, it seems he had been there a while ago and was pants down because as his car pulled up, the manager had her phone recording him and asked him if he had been there before asking him to leave and trying to video his naked body.
Video below:
Unacceptable! Unacceptable! She said as she continued to film the motorist as his car roared away.
The video found its way to social media where it quikcly went viral with millions of views. Nautica could not bear the online shaming the footage brought to him and killed himself in January 11. His body was discovered in Goodyear Arizona where he reportedly died by a gunshot to the head.
His death was ruled as suicide according to Maricopa County Medical Examiner.
The line of thought on social media quicky changed from shaming to blaming the management of the business for shaing such sensitive video online. “Not everything is supposed to go public”, many opined.
Among the debate that sprang up was if he was engrossed in watching porn that he forgot to cover himself. Another said he might be thinking the attendant will not be able to see his naked region from the window and another said it was completely legal to be “naked in your own car”.
The Bikini coffee shop was also faulted because of its name which suggests nudity.
The man’s family also staged a protest at the coffee shop were they were reportedly aggressive with the workers, as reported by the police through TMZ. The Bikini management referred to the man’s demise as “unfortunate and tragic”, but said it had the duty of ensuring a “safe and respectful environment” for both their staff and customers.
