Duck Dynasty reality star Uncle Si Robertson was hospitalized, after suffering an accident during a hunting venture recently.
Robertson, who is loved on the show, was visibly missing on the latest episode of the ‘Duck Call Room’ podcast. Friends and family are extremely concerned about the icon’s health, and what the effects of the incident would mean moving forward.
In the latest episode of the Duck Call Room podcast, co-hosts Justin Martin and Phillip McMillan told the fans what happened to Robertson while he was hunting.
According to Martin, Robertson’s accident occurred while he was trying to hurry off the boat. “Typical Silas Robertson, he’s in a dang hurry to get out of the boat and up the steep hill,” Martin narrated. “He fell trying to get out of the boat… it’s steep right there,” he continued, highlighting the muddy conditions.
Initially, Robertson had dismissed any consequences, claiming he was okay while he pushed through the rest of the day. However, as time passed, Roberson had to admit the truth. He was in a lot of pain.
According to Martin, his oxygen level dropped and yet Robertson was reluctant to visit any hospital till he was forced by his wife.
While at the hospital, the doctors conducted a series of tests and X-rays to see if there were any broken ribs. Fortunately, there was none, which led them to believe that Robertson’s falling oxygen levels were due to panic attacks.
This incident reiterates the danger of outdoor activities like hunting, camping, and others, as things could go sideways quickly.
Now, Uncle Si is at home, resting and grateful for only minor bruises. He is expected to join the show soon.
