A small plane crashed on Thursday into a building located in Southern California, injuring 19 and killing two people.
The small place is a single-engine Van’s RV-10. It took off from Fullerton Municipal Airport before an emergency statement was reported by its pilot, where he mentioned that “immediate landing required.”
A clearance to land on Runway 24 or 6 was granted by air traffic control, but the plane crashed about 1,000 feet short before reaching Runway 24, into a building owned by Michael Nicholas Designs where furniture is manufactured.
A footage of the crash revealed that the plane tilted on its side before the incident occurred. The reason for the crash is yet to be ascertained, as federal investigators cited “unknown circumstances” as the reason for the crash.

Officials also reported that the owner of the plane flies frequently at Fullerton Airport. This painful incident happened after a similar plane crash that happened nearby.
A statement was posted on social media by the Fullerton City Council calling the accident a “solemn tragedy.”
“The City of Fullerton is committed to providing support for all those affected and working with the agencies involved to uncover the details of this incident,” Mayor Fred Jung said in the statement. “We are grateful for the strength of our community and the compassion we show one another in times of crisis.”
