A father was furious at the board of Vista Unified School for giving an assignment to kids asking them to act as if they were either lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer (LGBTQ) and have decided to make it open and “come out”.
The parent made the startling revelation during the school’s district meeting on Tuesday.
“Each of you is now gay or lesbian, and you are about to begin your coming out process” the classroom activity stated, making the students stand in a circle.
The classroom activity sought to make the students act out from within by asking them not to talk while the activity lasted. Watch the video below:
The bewildered dad, referred to as Leon, called the public school’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) activity an LGBTQ grooming exercise and wondered how it made it to the educational curriculum in California.
He said he laid a complaint to the vice principal, who said it was not part of the school’s curriculum, but when he sought a higher authority, he was told the specific grooming activity was part of the educational curriculum.
Six students walked out of the class when the teacher at Rancho Buena Vista High School gave the exercise. Leon’s daughter, who was one of the students who immediately protested, could not wait to tell her father what happened when he got home.
The in-class exercise was heavily criticized by parents as well as some staff of the school, one of them referring to it as “disgusting”.
Shocking discoveries are usually made during public schools’ parents-teachers meetings. Books with sexually explicit content on pornography, group masturbation, foursome and gay sex, and nauseating felching have been found to have been made available by the school for kids’ reading.
