Ashley Young Becomes Everton’s Oldest Scorer

Ashley Young became the oldest-ever goal scorer for Everton when the team defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-0 on Wednesday in the Premier League at Goodison Park.

The team’s right back, Young, who is already 39 years old, also became the oldest player to convert a free kick in the Premier League, which was his 50th goal in the English top flight.

Everton will play against league leader Liverpool in the Merseyside Derby on Saturday and has moved up to 15th place in the Premier League table with 14 points, and Wolves moved down to second bottom with nine points.
