Bournemouth ended their Premier League season campaign by snatching three points after beating Leicester City 2-0, courtesy of a late brace by Antoine Semenyo.

Bournemouth had much of the possession from the beginning of the match but were only able to net their first goal in the 75th minute when a close-range shot from Semenyo got inside the net after Illia Zabarnyi’s nod across the box.

Antoine Semenyo did not rest after the first goal, as he added the second goal with a brilliant finish through the edge of the area, rifling the ball inside at the side post.

Leicester City were the first to score a goal, but the goal was cancelled for offside, while VAR helped Conor Coady from receiving a red card due to his attack on Evanilson.

Bournemouth also scored a goal that was ruled out after a cross from Semenyo went out before Daniel Jebbison fired into the net.

Leicester City started the game well, but they found it difficult to threaten their opponent and could not keep a clean sheet in their final top-flight game before relegation to the Championship.

Bournemouth’s star Andoni Iraola ended the season well, although their reduction in capacity earlier prevented them from qualifying for the Champions League.
