Two men dead and a woman was critically injured in a knife attack, across Manhattan on monday. This was confirmed by the New york police Department (NYPD).
A 51-year old homeless man got arrested following the incident and stabbings at three separate locations and he has been sentenced in a criminal case and criticized systematic failures. Mayor Eric Adams said.
In a news conference, Adams said the violence started when a 26 year old construction worker was stabbed near his working site and another attack of a 68 year old man fishing by the East River in which they were rushed to the hospital.
After two hours a 36 year old woman was stabbed multiple times outside United Nations headquarters in which a taxi driver witnessed it.
However, police recovered two knives and the victims identities have not been known.
