Hamas recently handed over four dead Israelis of over 75 hostages who were taken captive during an attack in Israel on October 7, 2023.
The bodies included Shiri Bibas and her two toddlers, Ariel and Kfir, as well as Oded Lifshitz, a retired journalist and activist.
When they were taken, Bibas was 32, Ariel was four years old, and Kfir was only 9 months old. It was a really sad one for Israel.
Hamas had arrived at Khan Younis with four black coffins and when they gave the bodies to Israel, the large crowd that gathered to witness the event cheered. It was a sick sight to behold.
“As the bodies of four Israeli hostages are transferred by Hamas to the Red Cross, hundreds of ‘innocent Gazans’ dance to music, and happily film this tragic event,” Israel’s Government Press Office wrote on X.
“Speechless doesn’t begin to describe how this makes us feel.”
When the Israel Defense had the slain hostages, they conducted a short ceremony to honor them before taking them for identification.
“A short while ago, IDF and ISA forces brought the coffins of the four deceased hostages over the border into Israel, and they are being taken to the National Institute of Forensic Medicine to undergo an identification procedure. IDF representatives are accompanying their families at this difficult time,” a statement released by the Israel Security Agency and the IDF read.
