A 29-year-old Bachelor alum, Joey Graziadei, and his pro partner Jenna Johnson, who is a 30-year-old choreographer, emerged as the winners of this season’s Dancing with the Stars.
Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson won the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy on Tuesday night at the show’s Season 33 finale.
The two stars were involved in a tough competition before emerging the winner; they defeated Super Bowl champion Danny Amendola and Witney Carson, actress Chandler Kinney, and Brandon Armstrong, Olympian rugby player Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten, and Olympian gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold.
This is not the first time that Bachelor Nation will be emerging victorious at the show; they have produced winners that include Hannah Brown (2019) and Kaitlyn Bristowe (2020).
Being a former professional tennis instructor, this motivated Graziadei’s victory, who featured a remarkable freestyle routine. Set to “Canned Heat” by District 78 featuring Jake Simpson, this performance swept the judges off their feet.
Another performance that gave them a perfect score was their redemption dance, a cha-cha to Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling!”.
During the finale, there were freestyle routines and a thrilling redemption round set to hits by both Troye Sivan and Madonna. Maher and Bersten also emerged as runners-up.
